Tura, Jan 31: Expenditure Observer for South Garo Hills, Prasad D Gorase today met all the Nodal Officers of various committee’s for the ensuing General Election and reviewed the general preparedness for the smooth conduct of the Election.
The Observer was impressed with the entire District Machineries to ensure a level of playing fields for all the political parties. However, he instructed strict adherence to election commission timeliness in respect of various critical activities of the electoral cycle.
The Expenditure Observer also stressed on requirements for proper coordination amongst various enforcement agencies.
The Expenditure Observer also visited all the different cells being put up for the smooth conduct of the election in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. He will also make a round to the polling stations of the South Garo Hills District.
