NPP not to put up candidate from Ranikor LAC: Prestone Tynsong

Shillong, Feb 4: The National People’s Party (NPP) is not fielding any candidate in Ranikor Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) in the forthcoming polls in Meghalaya scheduled for February 27.

This was informed by NPP vice-president and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Saturday.

According to Tynsong, the party has decided not to field any candidate in the constituency in the eleventh hour after the party nominee MM Dango had  in the last minute and joined the BJP.
