A procession of supporters accompanies Hek on way to file nomination

Shillong, Feb 6: A large number of supporters accompanied BJP candidate from Pynthormukrah LAC and former minister A L Hek while he was proceeding to file his nomination papers today to contest the February 27 Assembly election in Meghalaya.

 

After filing nomination A L Hek today said the CBI would inquire into all scams of the MDA government within six months of the BJP forming the new government in Meghalaya after the polls. He also said that people were already projecting him as a CM  candidate of the party.

Senior BJP leader and Union minister Dr Jitendra Singh accompanies Hek besides others on his way to the office of the Returning Officer here.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today said that  branding the BJP party as anti-Christian was mere propaganda of opposition parties. He said that Meghalaya was developing under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi
