Debutant Cong candidate Manuel Badwar faces seasoned Ampareen in East Shillong

Shillong, Feb 6: For Congress candidate from East Shillong constituency Manuel Badwar it will be a contest between new-age and progressive politics against the traditional one. He is pitted against a seasoned politician and NPP candidate Ampareen Lyngdoh in the constituency.

Badwar who is making his election debut, filed his nomination papers today.

He said he was standing for new age and progressive politics to attract young people to the field of politics.  “We have huge youth following to make Meghalaya much better than what it is today.
