UDP won’t win more than 10 seats: Lanong

Shillong, Feb 6: One of the founding members of the United Democratic Party (UDP) now contesting as an independent candidate from Nongkrem Bindo M Lanong on Monday predicted that the UDP would not win more than 8 to 10 seats in the Assembly polls 2023.

He also attacked the UDP president Metbah Lyngdoh stating that such things would happen when businessmen get into a political party.

He however, said that he would return to the party after the polls.
