SHILLONG, Feb 8: In the first semifinal match between New Heavens and Golflink XI Stars, New Heavens won the toss and chose to bat first scoring 143/10 in 19.3 overs. Anupam Paul top scored with 39 off 29 balls. Prem Mahato was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 31 in 3.3 overs. In reply Golflinks XI were bundled out for 69/10 in 15.3 over. Abid Khan scored 13 off 15. Pankaj Chanda took a 5 wicket haul giving away just 16 runs in 4 overs.New Heavens won the match by 74 runs. Pankaj Chanda was declared the man of the match. In the second semifinal match between Sportive Juniors and Nongpdeng CC, Nongpdeng won the toss and chose to bat scoring 140/5 in 20 overs. Donboklang Kharkongor scored 32 off 34. Saurav Bhushan took 2 for 22 in his 4 overs. In reply Sportive chased down the total in 19.1 overs scoring 144/6. Bappan Dutta smashed 79 off 60 balls. Robertjune Khongsieh was pick of the bowlers picking 2 for 21 in 4. Sportive won b y 4 wickets and Bappan Dutta was declared the man of the match.
