Poll violence has no place in Meghalaya: Ampareen Lyngdoh

Shillong, Feb 10: Following the recent clash between TMC and NPP workers in Phulbari Assembly Constituency in Garo Hills, NPP leader and a poll candidate Ampareen Lyngdoh has said that Meghalaya which always takes pride in conducting peaceful election, should not copycat such practices.

She added that the administration must be firm while dealing with people who create law and order situation during polls.
