Shitlang defends shift from TMC to UDP

SHILLONG, Feb 9: After jumping ship from the TMC to the UDP, Shitlang Pale has justified his move stating that it was based on the people’s will.
“My people told me join UDP so I joined UDP,” Pale, who is UDP’s candidate from Sutnga-Saipung seat, said.
Expressing confidence that he would emerge victorious, he claimed that his campaigning is going on absolutely fine. It may be mentioned that Shitlang Pale is heading for a direct fight with State Congress chief Vincent H Pala in Sutnga-Saipung constituency.
