The KAM candidate from South Shillong also made a commitment that she will be in a minimum wage till one of their demands of ensuring welfare boards for the workers whether the domestic is or gig workers is met.

She further informed that the rest of the salaries will go towards helping people to access their entitlements and rights.

Meanwhile, KAM Meghalaya candidate pointed that the funds which is being used for much of the public work is people’s money and it has been witness that people’s love to put their name to it.

According to her, this is one thing she wants to commit that she will not do since it is public money.

“The amount spends and for what purpose it will be clearly mentioned. It would be better to spend this money in actually telling people what are the entitlements of the schemes and what entitlements that the electorates are odd to get are,” Rangad added
