SHILLONG, Feb 10: The Election Commission of India has granted permission to the 18 candidates of the Voice of the People Party (VPP) to use the common symbol of “U Prah” (winnower).
Also, the three candidates of KAM Meghalaya have been allotted the common symbol of torchlight. Interestingly, petrol pump owner Samborlang Diengdoh, who is contesting as an independent from Pynthorumkhrah, has been allotted the symbol of “petrol pump”.
