SHILLONG, Feb 11: The KSU Laban Circle on Saturday “punished” the staff of a petrol pump at Anjalee Point for allegedly scamming the consumers.
The members of the KSU had inspected the petrol pump after receiving complaints from the customers that they are often scammed by the petrol pump employees, who are reportedly engaged in dispensing lower quantities of fuel.
According to the KSU, the fuel station staff would always cover the fuel metre or would try to distract the customers.
The KSU also said that the employees at the petrol pump were found to be without documents to prove their identity.
