SHILLONG, Feb12: In the division II finals between Malki CC and Lumpyngad CC, Malki won the toss and chose to bat first and were bowled out for a paltry 62/10 in 16.4 overs. Apialson Marwein top scored with 14 while Evansius Mawthoh scored 13. Bikash Thapa took 4 for 11 in 2.4 overs, while Mukesh took 3 for 16 in 4. Lumpyngad chased down the total in 9.3 overs scoring 33/4. George Kharkongor scored 19 off14. Apialson was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 for 16 in 4. Lumpyngad won thematch by 6 wickets and Bikash Thapa was awarded the man of the match.In the finals of the 3rd division between Sportive Juniors and New Heaven, Sportive won the toss and chose to bat first putting up 131/6 in 20 overs. Mukesh Balmiki smashed 65 off 65 deliveries, while Andrew Lyngdoh chipped in with 12 off 15. Bikram Pradhan took 2 for 17 while Srikanth Pradhan took 2 for 35 in their 4 overs. New Heaven chased down the target in 18 overs scoring 134/3. Sanjiv Ghosh scored 35 off 40 while Anupam Paul scored 34 off 41. Suresh Balmiki took 1 for 18 while Bappan Dutta took 1-22 in their 4 overs. New Heaven won the match by 7 wickets and Sanjiv Ghosh was awarded the man of the match.
