CRPF DIG reviews security preparedness in GH districts

TURA, Feb 17: With state Assembly elections just days away, DIG of CRPF Range, Guwahati, Anil Kumar, paid a visit to all districts in the Garo Hills region to review the preparedness on the security front.
Kumar, who is in Garo Hills to supervise the induction and deployment of CAPF personnel as well as manage security arrangements in view of VVIP visits to the region, is also paying visits to the proposed company locations for CAPF personnel to review the availability of infrastructure, basic amenities and logistic support as per the guidelines of the ECI.
