SCL Super Division: Royals CC thrash Sporting CC

Shillong, Feb 19: Royals CC thump Sporting CC by a massive 117-run margin in the Shillong Cricket League Super Division match in MCA Polo ground on Sunday. Batting first, Royals put up an impressive 246/6 in the allotted 40 overs. Swastic Chettri (63 runs of 77balls) and Adarsh Joshi (50 runs of 60 balls) top scored for Royals, while Suraj Chettri (3/21) and Rohit Kumar Yadav (1/35) were the pick of the bowlers for Sporting. In reply, Sporting collapsed for 129 all out in 30.3 overs. Avinash Rai top scored with 37 runs of 55 balls, meanwhile, Yadav made 18 runs from 18 balls. For Royals, Player of the Match Abhishek Kumar (4/22) and Bikash Singh (2/13) were top performers with the ball.
