SpiceJet connects Shillong to national capital

SHILLONG, Feb 24: SpiceJet on Friday launched its direct Shillong-Delhi flight from the Shillong Airport at Umroi here.
With this, SpiceJet has become the third airline company after Indigo and Alliance Air to start its scheduled flights from Shillong.
It is now expected that the Shillong Airport will be connected to more routes.
In the inaugural flight, 18 passengers were inbound and 12 passengers flew from Shillong to the national capital.
SpiceJet is operating a Q 400 76-seater aircraft and the flight would operate on Mondays and Fridays.
Since it is a scheduled flight, tickets would be available on all the prominent websites.a
