SHILLONG, Feb 27: NPP’s East Shillong candidate Ampareen Lyngdoh believes that the party will be a formidable force even with close to 26-28 seats if it does not get an absolute majority. She asserted that the NPP should not face difficulty in forming the government.
“Big hunch…indicates that we will be a formidable force and even if we are close to 26-28 seats, there should not be any difficulty in establishing ourselves as a major party to form the government,” she said.
She also claimed that there are no indications that the NPP was doing badly in any part of the constituency.
