Meghalaya Election Results Live Updates: NPP causes another upset in Rangsakona

The story of upsets continues as NPP’s Subir Marak defeated sitting MLA and TMC heavyweight Zenith M Sangma by a margin of 788 votes.

With this, the NPP has added fourth seat in its tally.

While Marak secured 13,605 votes, Zenith secured 12,817 votes.

Another strong contender, Dipul R Marak of the BJP was third with a total of 4,571 votes.
