SHILLONG, March 1: A resident of Mawlai Nonglum Traisiej, Habanjop Nongrum died on the spot after he was run over by a truck at Mawlai Iewrynghep on Wednesday afternoon.
According to some of the eyewitnesses, the deceased was run over by the truck after he slipped and fell while trying to climb onto the footpath after crossing the road.
