Oscars 2023: Deepika Padukone to present award

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has joined Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troy Kotsur among others as the presenter of an award the upcoming Oscars 2023.

 

Deepika Padukone announced her selection as the presenter in an Instagram post where she wrote “#oscars#oscars95” along with the photo of names of other presenters.

 

The list of other presenters include Dwayne Johnson, Michael B Jordan, Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Troy Kotsur, Dwayne Johnson, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors, Janelle Monae, Ariana DeBose and Questlove.

 

Followers soon started appreciating Deepika and one of them wrote, “Great going. First Priyanka and now Deepika. Indian actresses are winning”.

 

Another user wrote. “Deepika Padukone will literally be studied 10 years from now. She just keeps doing things silently and that makes me so proud of her. Plus I love how she did all on her own terms. We have a long way to go Deepika Padukone. Its just the beginning”.

 

The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12 at Los Angeles’ Dolly Theater.
