SCL Div 1: Khalsa beat Donkins by 53 runs

SHILLONG, March 3: In the Shillong Cricket League 1st division match between Khalsa Warriors and Donkins SCSC, Khalsa won the toss and chose to bat first putting up a total of 221/9 in their 35 overs. Karan Jaiswal top scored with 67 off 70 balls while Rahul Singh chipped with a quickfire 47 off 29. Pynkupbor Booney was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 36 in 7. Marcus Bhujel took for 29 in his 7 overs. In reply Donkins were bowled out for 168 in 26.1 overs. Issac Biswa scored 52 off 41 while Marcus Bhujel scored 36 off 22. Sandeep Singh took 3 for 37 in his 7 overs. While Kushaldeep Singh took 3 for 22 in 6.1 overs. Khalsa won the match by 53 runs and Sandeep Singh was awarded the man of the match for his 19 runs off the bat and 3 wickets with the ball.
