RM Kurbah named as DC of East Khasi Hills

SHILLONG, March 20: The state government has effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle, posting Rosetta Mary Kurbah, as Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Kurbah was the Secretary of Health & Family Welfare Department; Director of School Education & Literacy and State Project Director of SSA (SEMAM).
In an order issued by Ripnar Lyngdoh, Commissioner & Secretary, Personnel & A.R.(A) Department, on Monday, incumbent East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner SC Sadhu has been transferred and posted as Director, Community & Rural Development Department. He will also function as Secretary, Community & Rural Development and Fisheries & Water Resources Departments.
W Nongsiej, Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills District has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Prisons & Correctional Services Department.
G Kharmawphlang, Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills District has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills District.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Swapnil Tembe has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary of Education Department and Director of School Education & Literacy and Special Project Director of SSA.
Jagdish Chelani, Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills District has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills District while Vibhor Agarwal, Deputy Secretary of Sports & Youth Affairs Department has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills District.
