SGH vs WKH washed out midway

Shillong, March 22: Today’s match in the U-14 Girls Inter District Cricket T20 Tournament 2023 was shaping up to be an interesting contest but bad weather stepped in to spoil the fun. South Garo Hills District Cricket Association won the toss and chose to bat first against West Khasi Hills DCA in a match that was reduced to 12 overs a side.
WKH captured two early wickets but Tempali Basumatary batted excellently for an unbeaten 39 from 33 balls and put on 54 in an unbroken fourth wicket stand with Magdaline M Sangma (13 not out). SGH had reached 101/3 in 11 overs before the match had to be abandoned.The wickets were claimed by WKH’s Evanrihun Sohshang (1/12), Idatyngkai Marngar (1/19) and Adalyn Fedelia Lyngkhoi (1/30).
