According to a statement, general secretary of Seng Khasi Kmie Mawkhar Shillong HainessMarbaniang on Friday called on the Governor and invited him.
“The event which promises to be a grand affair is an important part of Meghalaya’s cultural calendar and is eagerly awaited by locals and visitors alike. With the Governor’s attendance, the event is sure to be a memorable one for all who attend,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Sri SriJanardhanDas Ji Maharaj from International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple in Guwahati also paid a visit to the Governor as part of Ram Navami celebration.
