SHILLONG, March 31: A brief spell of shower on Friday afternoon exposed the city’s lack of urban planning with waterlogging reported in certain parts of the city.
The road at Polo Market area was submerged due to waterlogging. Eye-witnesses said that vehicles faced difficulty while plying through the road.
Waterlogging was also reported in Lachaumiere which houses several government offices. Here too, vehicles and pedestrians had to move through portions of submerged roads following the downpour.
