Shillong, April 6: Tiger vs Pathaan, a forthcoming film set in the spy universe of Yash Raj Productions, will be directed by Siddharth Anand, reports have suggested. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly act in their roles as the spies Pathaan and Tiger in Tiger vs. Pathaan. There will apparently be a face-off between the two agents in Tiger vs. Pathaan.

Salman Khan played a RAW agent in two YRF spy films, Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), both of which were directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Shah Rukh Khan was portrayed as an agent in the action movie Pathaan (2023), which was the biggest box office success of his career. Pathaan, which was also directed by Siddharth Anand, had Salman in a cameo role. Characters from the YRF spy universe came together in Pathaan, the first YRF movie to have a crossover.

According to the reports, Aditya Chopra has enormous trust in Siddharth Anand to execute a spectacular visual spectacle that has never been seen before with Tiger vs. Pathaan. An insider said, “Siddharth will also be given all the support he needs to mount Tiger vs. Pathaan as the biggest film that India has ever produced. Siddharth is getting a dream cast of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together for their first full fledged film since Karan Arjun” the insider said.

Other than the previous two Tiger movies and War (2019), which stars Hrithik Roshan as a RAW agent in which Tiger Shroff also appeared. This year’s Diwali is the planned release date for the third installment of the Tiger franchise, which once again stars Salman Khan. Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, which stars Hrithik, is apparently also in production. Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh, was the fourth movie set in the YRF spy universe.
