Conrad condemns miscreants’ attack on Church elders from Meghalaya in Bihar

Shillong, April 11: Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma has condemned the incident in Bihar where elders from Presbyterian Church in Meghalaya  were manhandled by miscreants.

He instructed Meghalaya Police to be in touch with Bihar Police who are helping Meghalaya elders whose statements are being taken to file FIR against those miscreants.

Meanwhile, the DGP of Meghalaya L R Bishnoi informed that Patna police had told him that there was no beating of elders from Meghalaya and Patna police were asking them to file FIR. Meghalaya police have also asked Patna police to provide security to the Church elders till the last point of their journey.
