Governor to be inducted as prez of IRCS M’laya

SHILLONG, April 10: Governor Phagu Chauhan will be inducted as the president of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Meghalaya Branch, during an event on May 8.
According to a statement here, the Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya Branch, River O Wallang, along with its senior officials, on Monday called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan.
During the meeting, the governor was officially invited to attend the celebration of World Red Cross Day on May 8.
