Shillong, April 12: An old video of Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif is going viral on social media in which she blames herself for Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor disliking her.

Since sharing a cryptic Instagram story on marriage that went viral on social media, Neetu Kapoor has been in the news. Many have speculated that she may have been criticising her son, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

In the midst of all the commotion, an old interview in which Katrina Kaif addressed rumours that Neetu Kapoor “disliked” her has gone viral. Katrina is now wedded to Vicky Kaushal, while Ranbir Kapoor has married Alia Bhatt.

Prominent journalist Karan Thapar asks Katrina in an interview, “Rumor has it that Ranbir’s mother Neetu doesn’t like you”.

Katrina replies, “The reason and the person responsible for these rumours that you are saying quite honestly would be me. I’ll take the full blame for that and you may ask why. The reason is since the last eight or nine years, I have chosen not to comment on my personal life whoever it may be or whatever it is about- the people or the man in my life. Because I feel it’s the easier way for me to be. There’s no hard and fast reason why. I’m a sensitive person”.

Neetu Kapoor had recently shared a post on her Instagram stories in which she stated, “Just because he dated you for 7 years, it doesn’t mean he will marry you. My uncle studied medicine for 6 years, now he is a DJ”.
