On account of the birthday of Dr BR Ambedkar, April 14 (Friday) has been declared as a ‘closed holiday’ for all central government offices including industrial establishments throughout India by invoking the power under Section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act 1881, Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, SP Pant, said in an office memorandum.
