Camp office at Nonghyllam inaugurated

MAWKYRWAT, April 17: South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, T. Lyngwa on Saturday inaugurated the camp office of the district administration at Nonghyllam village, Ranikor, South West Khasi Hills.
Speaking to media persons following the inauguration, Lyngwa said that the prime objective of the district administration to set up the camp office was to bring the administration closer to the people.
He said that the people of the area have long suffered as they would have to travel around 110-120 km to Mawkyrwat for official purposes.
The DC informed that the camp office will function once a week, which is on Nonghyllam Market Day.
