Delhi school receives bomb threat; students, staff evacuated

Shillong, April 26: Early on Wednesday morning, there was a bomb threat at Delhi Public School on Mathura Road. Email was sent to inform that a bomb had been planted in the school.

Shortly after learning the news, there was a panic on campus, and parents hurried to the school to remove their children. Police was informed by the school authorities after which the students and staff was evacuated from the premises.

Bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs of Delhi police reached the school premises to scam the area.
