Shillong, May 4: While May is one of the warmest months especially in Delhi and NCR, an unusual phenomenon was witnessed where fog engulfed the region early morning.
After experiencing two days of rain, people in Delhi-NCR awoke to a gloomy morning on Thursday. Throughout Delhi-NCR, there was also very poor visibility.
Delhi roads were visible covered in a thick layer of fog, with visibility barely a few metres. The unbelievable weather in Delhi-NCR compelled people to don their winter clothing in morning.

On Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning for the Delhi-NCR region for the upcoming five days, anticipating more rains and hailstorms.
After the thick fog that people experienced in May, the temperature dropped to 19 degrees Celsius this morning. The current temperature is almost 15 degrees below seasonal average.
