Guv on two-day visit to SWKH

MAWKYRWAT, May 21: Governor Phagu Chauhan on Sunday arrived in Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills, for a two-day visit to the district. He was given a ceremonial welcome in the presence of Deputy Commissioner T Lyngwa and the Superintendent of Police, Goldenbert D Kharwanlang, at the Circuit House, Mawkyrwat.
During his visit, the Governor will meet officials of central agencies, heads of departments, district administration and headmen of nearby villages. He will also visit Maharam Higher Secondary School, Civil Hospital, Mawkyrwat, and inspect some of the construction works under MGNREGA at Mawpon, Mawkyrwat.
