CM filled with pride over new Parl building inauguration

NEW DELHI, May 28: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma accompanied by Tura MP Agatha Sangma on Sunday attended the inaugural function of the new Parliament building here along with all chief ministers and NDA MPs from the Northeast.
“As an honoured spectator of this historic moment, I am filled with immense pride for the accomplishments of our nation,” he tweeted after the meeting. Our nation’s dedication to democracy and embracing a brighter future is exemplified by the new Parliament building, he added.
It is a testament to India’s illustrious history and firm commitment to inclusive governance, the chief minister said. In the picture, which he posted, Conrad was seen with chief ministers of Mizoram and Nagaland, Zoramthanga and Neiphiu Rio and others.
