NONGPOH, June 5: More than 150 youths from four C&RD blocks of Ri-Bhoi took part during a one-day Yuva Utsav, which was organised by the Nehru Yuva Sangathan recently.
Thematised on ‘Panch Pran’, which signifies the five vital elements, the Yuva Utsav sought to develop India by eradicating any remnants of colonial mindsets and fostering pride in the nation’s rich heritage and legacy.
It aimed to promote national unity, solidarity, and a sense of duty among citizens. The event was attended by Member of Parliament Vincent H Pala as the chief guest, Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem as the guest of honour, among others.
