No power cut for UEFA CL final

SHILLONG, June 8: In what may be termed as good news for football lovers in the state, the MeECL has decided not to impose load-shedding during the final of the UEFA Champions League Trophy scheduled to be telecast from 12.30 am (IST) on June 11.
The final will be played between Manchester City FC and Inter Milan at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
MeECL Chairman cum Managing Director, Sanjay Goyal on Thursday said the decision was taken following demands from the public.
