Condolence
The members of the Shillong Mukul Sangha have condoled the demise of the Sangha’s former president, Mirtadev Gogoi, and have prayed for the departed soul. According to a statement here, Gogoi, who passed away on Thursday at Shillong Civil Hospital, was a resident of Umpling, and was associated with Srimanta Sankardev Cultural Centre, Shillong Central Bihu committee, for several years. Apart from that, he also was a life member of Asam Sahitya Sabha.
