Shillong, June 26: A Srinagar-Jammu IndiGo flight briefly entered Pakistan’s airspace due to unfavorable weather conditions.

The airline stated that the diversion was necessary due to the inclement weather, and as a result, flight 6e-2124 was redirected to Amritsar.

An official from the airline mentioned that they promptly informed the relevant authorities in both countries before the flight entered Pakistani airspace.

Subsequently, the Jammu and Lahore Air Traffic Control (ATC) centers collaborated to ensure a smooth diversion of the flight.

Despite the weather-related detour, the passengers on board safely reached their intended destination, as confirmed by the airline official.
