SHILLONG, June 28: The VPP has asked the state government to ensure students are allotted medical seats only on the basis of merit.
“While finalising the allotment of seats due consideration should be made to ensure that meritorious students are allotted seats in the top ranking medical colleges and institutes across the country,” VPP general secretary Ricky AJ Syngkon said in a letter to Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh.
