Govt to tie up with Don Bosco Tech School for employment generation

SHILLONG, June 28: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday informed that the state government will join hands with Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong, for realising the target of creating five lakh job opportunities in different sectors.
The chief minister said this in his address during a programme at Don Bosco Technical School.
Interacting with the students, Conrad said the government has, in the last few years, been working on a roadmap to tap the skills of the youths, which, he added, will push the economic growth of the state.
Informing that the government will would partner with Don Bosco Technical School to achieve the goal of creating five lakh job opportunities in state, Conrad said, “Don Bosco Technical School will be a great partner for the Government of Meghalaya to complement and supplement each other and scale up the targets and goals that we have and achieve it together.”
He also urged the technical school to upgrade and integrate their courses to keep up with changing needs and technology.
On the occasion, the chief minister also distributed completion certificates and appointment letters to the passing-out students.
