Programme celebrates advent of Behdienkhlam

JOWAI, July 1: The Society of Urban and Rural Empowerment (SURE) on Saturday organised a programme at HK Singh School, Jowai, to celebrate the advent of the Behdienkhlam festival.
Secretary of SURE, Dr. HH Mohrmen, in his address during the programme, welcomed the gathering of different religious backgrounds.
Member of Sein Raij Jowai, Kamnipaia Challam, on the other hand, explained about the festival.
He said the celebration is held for four days and three nights.
He also reminded the gathering that the preparations for the festival start from March each year.
