Shillong, July 6: India’s designated terrorist, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has emerged in New York and issued a fresh warning to Indian diplomats in Canada, the US, Australia, and the UK. Pannun, the founder of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), released a video message from the UN Headquarters, holding Indian diplomats accountable for the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

In his statement, Pannun announced the commencement of the third phase of the Khalistan referendum in Canada. He mentioned that Toronto would vote on July 16, while Vancouver’s voting on September 10 would be dedicated to Nijjar.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a pro-Khalistan leader based in Canada, was declared a ‘wanted terrorist’ by the Indian government. Last month, he was tragically shot dead by unidentified gunmen at the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, where he served as the head.

Following the killing of several Khalistan supporters, Pannun went into hiding. Furthermore, Khalistan radicals recently set fire to the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, an act that has been condemned by the US.
