Health camp for displaced persons from Manipur

Shillong, July 14: A health camp for displaced people from Manipur was organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, Meghalaya branch in collaboration with the Jaiaw Presbyterian Church at the Kuki Church premises in Lum Ba Tngen, here on Friday, a press release issued here informed.
Medical supplies were provided by the Health Department, Govt of Meghalaya and the Red Cross Society provided blankets, kitchen equipments, and groceries to the beneficiaries. Other organisations and individuals also joined in and lent a helping hand by providing essential items to mitigate the sufferings of the displaced people from the strife-torn state.
