SHILLONG, July 16: A moderate earthquake rocked Shillong and other parts of the state on Sunday evening.
The quake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, occurred at 7:53 pm. “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.2, occurred on 16-07-2023, 19:53:34 IST, Lat: 25.62 & Long: 91.36, Depth: 10 Km, Location: West Khasi Hills,” the National Center for Seismology said in a tweet.
