Two more illegal coke plants meet their fate in EJH

KHLIEHRIAT, July 18: Two more illegal coke plants in East Jaintia Hills were demolished on Tuesday.
The coke ovens include Kamakhya Coke at Synrang Khimmyrsiang near Lelad village of Elaka Sutnga and SSS Coke located in Thanguatah of Sutnga Elaka.
The cokes factories in question had not obtained the Consent to Established (CTE) from the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB).
