Snatching
Mira Saha lodged a complaint that on July 18 around 7 pm, a miscreant snatched away her mobile phone at Keating Road, and fled away.

Stolen
Asst. EE, PWD (R), Sohra Sub-Division had lodged a complaint that on the morning of July 12, he found that the wall beam components of crash barrier along Shillong-Sohra road were missing. The complainant suspected that the materials were stolen.
Kyntiewlin Lyngdoh, Headmistress, Sngimawleiñ Govt. RMSA Secondary School, Sngimawleiñ in South West Khasi Hills had lodged a complaint that miscreants broke into the school building and stole cash of Rs 10,000.
Hiben B Marak of Rongbakgre village, West Garo Hills had lodged a complaint that on July 17 around 1 am, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08E-2273).
Lohit Boruah had lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of July 17 & 18, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08G-1208) from Mihmyntdu, West Jaintia Hills.
Sukla Baidya had lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of July 13 & 14, miscreants broke into her shop at Jail Road, and stole four boxes of copper and brass puja items, one idol valued around Rs 90,000, six boxes of saffron (kesar) valued around Rs 7,000, edible items valued around Rs 9,000 and cash Rs 15,000.

Ransacked
Shandor Tiewsoh, Superintendent Professional Tax, KHADC, Mawkyrwat Branch, South West Khasi Hills had lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants ransacked the office/important documents and files and also forcibly opened and damaged the almirah and drawers.

Rob
Kishor Singh, Manager, M/s North East Tubular Poles Pvt., Ltd., MIDC Umiam, Ri Bhoi had lodged a complaint that on July 16, miscreants stole eleven motors with pully, one motor with pump, copper wire and multi stand from the chamber machine from the aforesaid factory.

Theft
Badamutlang Dympep had lodged a complaint that on July 12 around 6 am, miscreants trespassed into her residence at Mawlai, Mawroh Kyntonlieh, Shillong with the intention to commit theft.
Fullness Mawlieh had lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of July 15 & 16, miscreants broke into his residence at Nongdein New, Nongstoiñ, West Khasi Hills and took away gold ornaments valued around Rs 3 lakh, cash Rs 2 lakh, Bank cheque book, valuable documents, etc.
