Conrad announces Rs 50000 assistance to nurses getting jobs abroad

Shillong, August 4: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today announced that the state government would provide an assistance of Rs 50,000 to every nurse from the state who would be selected to work in foreign countries in the Overseas Nursing Job Fair that was held in the city today.

Over 1200 nurses registered themselves in the job fair today. The state government is working with a few renowned HR agencies to provide employment to these nurses.
