TIFF to showcase ‘Thank You For Coming’ starring Bhumi Pednekar

Shillong, August 11: The upcoming film ‘Thank You For Coming,’ featuring Bhumi Pednekar in a leading role, has secured a prestigious spot for its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Karan Boolani and written by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh, this coming-of-age comedy is set to grace the festival’s screens on September 15, 2023, at the esteemed Roy Thomson Hall.

Joining Bhumi Pednekar in the cast are notable names such as Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Saloni Daini, Dolly Ahluwalia, Karan Kundrra, and Anil Kapoor in a special appearance.

As per IANS, Bhumi Pednekar shared, “This marks my debut at TIFF, and I am overjoyed to present a film so close to my heart on this platform. The fact that we’ve been chosen for a Gala Premiere at the prestigious Roy Thompson Hall adds to its significance. I am eagerly anticipating the experience, especially the opportunity to view my work with such a diverse and large audience. Walking the red carpet alongside my co-actors, director Karan Boolani, and producers Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor will be a truly memorable moment.”
