SHILLONG, Aug 11: The state government has effected a reshuffle in the Police Department in the rank of Superintendent of Police.
A notification issued by the Home department said West Garo Hills SP, Vivekananda S. Rathore has been posted as Commandant, 3rd MLP Bn, Sahbsein, Jowai.
North Garo Hills SP, Shailendra Bamaniya has been posted as SP of South Garo Hills.
SP (Traffic), Shillong, Dara Aswaghosh has been posted as Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre in place of Bruno A. Sangma, who has been posted as SP of North Garo Hills.
Kamakhya Prasad, Commandant of 3rd MLP Bn, Sahbsein, Jowai, has been posted as SP (Traffic), Shillong.
South Garo Hills SP, Abraham T. Sangma will now take charge of West Garo Hills.
