WKH KSU apprehends four non-tribals, deports them

NONGSTOIN, Aug 11: Four non-tribals were apprehended and were sent back to their respective places by the KSU Mawshynrut circle, West Khasi Hills on Friday.
The non-tribals were employed at Riangdo Post Office.
Stating that non-tribals have problem in communicating as they cannot speak the local language, KSU organising secretary, Anselm Ryntong asked concerned department to replace the post by locals, adding that only they should be benefitted from the department because local are also qualified to handle the job.
The KSU therefore seek the cooperation from every department available in the villge to ensure that the work which can handle by locals should be given to them. The union also urged the headman of the area to work together to fight against influx.
